Source code
This page is for version 2026.10.17-9018f02b of the app (engine commit 11136ae4904691ef3c74aa800614c9c4bd0dc93c).
The engine
Low Poly Pictures runs a fork of 3DMMEx, compiled to WebAssembly
with Emscripten 6.0.12. The browser port (the 1995 program running in a browser, with its fixes) is
open source under the MIT License at
github.com/stonesalltheway1/low-poly-pictures-engine
(branch web). Low Poly Pictures' own additions, such as the HD stage, are not open source; they are
part of the relink kit below as compiled code.
FluidSynth (LGPL-2.1)
The app plays music with the FluidSynth library, version 2.5.2, unmodified, linked into the app's WebAssembly file. FluidSynth is licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License, version 2.1. You can get its source code and rebuild the app with a modified FluidSynth with these files:
| File | What it is |
|---|---|
| fluidsynth-2.5.2.tar.gz 2.1 MB |
The exact FluidSynth source used in this version. SHA-256 1dcb13308b3aa383db658c60a7b63d73d0ff4601ccee589582ba7a816475410e |

Relink kit: the rest of the app as compiled object files, with the exact link command, so you can link it
with your own FluidSynth build. Instructions are in its README. SHA-256 b761e3b33f6512880581b362be596ceef3c82ec046aba079501fe02671dbd609 |
